DESCRIPTION:
WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master, ref 1675, circa 1973, 42mm including crown guards x 47mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, stainless steel screw back Oyster case with chamfered lugs and a bi-directional gold bezel with brown 24 hour bezel insert, two-tone Rolex Oyster bracelet, original brown nipple dial with applied gold indices, date aperture at 3, 26J cal 1570, s#3462165, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 78363 with 458 end links and a VC date code, inside back ref 1675. Inside case back date stamped II 72 which is slightly out of date range for this watch, as such it could be a replacement but appears to match this case well.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light discoloration on rotor edge; nearly flawless dial with very light spotting to applied gold indices; nearly mint tritium Mercedes hands with light yellow to base of luminous material; polished case shows light wear, lug chamfers are still visible, tight bezel, several light dings on the backs of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet as well as several light dings on case sides; bracelet shows light wear, wear to gold center links on back of bracelet, tarnish to gold centers on end links, light stretch; original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; resealed for auction.
